The Jewish Community Center of the North Shore offers a wide variety of summer camp options for children across all age and interest groups.

Prime Time Summer for toddlers is specifically designed to enhance and encourage the social, physical and emotional development of each child in a safe and nurturing environment. Located in the Harold & Janice Cohen Early Childhood Wing with direct access to our custom designed Infant/Toddler playground is the ideal setting for fun and stimulating summer activities.


Ages 2 years, 9 months to entering Kindergarten 9/2004.
Kinderkamp runs from 9am-noon at our outdoor pool complex. In addition to daily instructional swim, our "Specialists" will hihlight crafts, storytelling, science, Judaica and athletics. Discovery is a collaborative summer program that brings together Cohen Hillel Academy and the JCC of the North Shore. Discovery provides a full day of enrichment activities, encouraging each child to reach his/her potential. Discovery activities offer intellectual, creative, and recreational opportunities in a warm and nurturing environment. Nestled on acres and acres of woodlands, Camp Simchah promises precious memories for children in grades pre-K-8. Our campers experience a broad range of camp activities including a ropes course, drama, athletics, Israeli culture, swimming and much, much more. One week specialty camps for Grades 1-9 in a wide range of specialized programs including: Tennis, Hoop Mountain Basketball, Adventure(daily field trips), Chess, Dance, and British Soccer. Some camps have multiple sessions. For details, contact Program Director, Jullie Newburg at extension 108.
