FREE SUMMER CLASSES:
SPINNING® (ALL LEVELS): Come ride with us! The JCC Is proud to be an official Spinning facility with instructors who are certified through Mad Dogg Athletics. Experience our exciting rides (on stationary bicycles) while learning about cadence, heart-rate zones, climbs and sprints. You’ll get in the best shape of your life! SPINNING® SHORTER SWEETER (ALL LEVELS): This is a 45 minute version of our popular Spinning® class. JCC SIGNATURE SPINNING® (ALL LEVELS): Fanny takes an ordinary ride and makes it extraordinary! Join Fanny, 15-year Star 3 Spinning veteran, on an indoor cycling class that utilizes various training techniques and motivational strategies to simulate actual riding experiences. 321 J-FIT (ALL LEVELS): This dynamic fitness class combines 3 necessary components of fitness to sculpt your body to perfection! You will rotate through 3 minutes of cardio, 2 minutes of sculpting and 1 minute of core with segments of HIIT/Tabata training throughout the workout to boost your metabolism and burn, burn, burn calories! CARDIO MIX SCULPT (ALL LEVELS): This class may be a combination of hi/low, kickboxing, sport drills or dance. The instructor has the freedom to mix it up – cardio style! Top off this class with strength and conditioning your body from head to toe! MELT, CHISEL & MOLD (ALL LEVELS): This class blends body sculpting and cardio to MELT away unwanted body fat, CHISEL strong body parts and MOLD your figure into a work of art. CARDIO KICKBOXING (ALL LEVELS): Cardio Kickboxing is a combination of dance and martial arts that will zap calories, improve your endurance and cardiovascular fitness, define your muscles and shred your abs! CARDIO CRAZY (ALL LEVELS): Join our Cardio Crazy class and get that endorphin rush you need to kickoff the weekend. The fun, high-energy workout is designed to maximize endurance, increase energy and get results fast simply with the use of your own body weight! DRUMS ALIVE® (ALL LEVELS): Have fun and get your heart pumping as you drum to choreographed movements. Powerful and motivating music and drumming rhythms will get your feet stomping and your body moving. DANCIN’ TO THE OLDIES (ALL LEVELS): It’s a classic dance hits party! This class will keep you moving, grooving and sweating your way into dance fitness! DANCENERGY (ALL LEVELS): This energetic, fun and challenging class is a series of choreographed dance routines set to great music and featuring many styles of dance. DancEnergy will burn calories, strengthen your core, exercise your mind and energize your spirit! ***The best way to learn DANCENERGY IS TO MIMIC AND FOLLOW. Repetition is the key! Each class you will build skills and confidence! DANCENERGY BEGINNER: This class offers the consistency of dancing the same 12-14 routines week after week! You’ll be mastering the steps in no time! DANCENERGY BREAKDOWN (BEGINNER): This class will break down each and every step to a select few songs every week. DANCENERGY INTERMEDIATE (ALL LEVELS): This class is for veteran dancers. It reaches into the archives of 29 years of DancEnergy choreography and challenges your memory and your body! BEGINNER ISRAELI DANCING: It's fun and a great workout! Israeli Dancing is popular around the world. Learn new steps and then dance with new friends! ISRAELI DANCING (ALL LEVELS): This class is a wonderful way to make new friends, socialize, exercise and have a great time! Israeli Dancing is a great way to de-stress and get fit! ZUMBA® (ALL LEVELS): Dance, Dance, Dance! Zumba® is a fusion of Latin and International music with dance themes that create a dynamic, exciting, effective fitness system! ZUMBA®/ TONING (ALL LEVELS): This is a combination class with the excitement of Zumba® and a Latin inspired dance ‘n tone program. We provide the 1 ½ pound toning sticks, similar to maracas. In a short period of time, this challenging workout helps in building coordination and muscle endurance. TOTAL BODY CUTZ (ALL LEVELS): This high-energy total body strength and conditioning class will use all equipment to target every muscle group: weights, balls, steps, tubes, etc., helping you to define, tone and give you a complete body workout. TOTAL BODY CUTZ EXPRESS (ALL LEVELS): This is a 30 minute version of our popular Total Body Cutz class. | SCULPT & STRETCH (ALL LEVELS): The first half of this class will tone and define your body to perfection. The second half will delight your muscles with self-massage and soft tissue work on the foam rollers! Enjoy! BODYPUMP™ (ALL LEVELS): The JCC is a licensed BodyPump™ facility with the best instructors anywhere! Find out how millions of people around the world have changed their bodies in this resistance training class with weights. You WILL see results! EXPRESS JCCIRCUIT TRAINING (ALL LEVELS): Every day our Fitness staff runs several 15-minute, drop-in training sessions in the Fitness Center. We focus on specific muscle groups each time. SENIOR STRENGTH AND BALANCE (ALL LEVELS): Get fit in this fun, energetic class that will allow our seasoned members to work on their balance by incorporating specific core (abdominal) exercises. Participants may sit during class. FIT FOREVER STRENGTH (ALL LEVELS): Aging to perfection takes some work! Fit Forever Strength is an active class using hand weights, tubes, body bars, pilates circles, etc. with gentle exercises to help increase muscular strength, bone density, balance, flexibility, joint stability, and range of motion. This class is designed at a slower pace for those coming off an injury, mobility issues, seniors or those just starting to exercise. AQUA ZUMBA® (ALL LEVELS): Aqua Zumba® is the pool party workout for all ages. Dive into our new water dance fitness class and experience a challenging water-based workout that integrates the Zumba® formula and philosophy into traditional aqua fitness disciplines. H20 CARDIO & STRENGTH (ALL LEVELS): This invigorating and popular class improves cardiovascular conditioning, muscular strength and endurance using the buoyancy and resistance of the water and water buoys to give you a safe, effective, fun and “no sweat” workout. Swimming ability not required. H20 DEEP (ALL LEVELS): Get into shape with this deep water cardio and body sculpting workout designed for all fitness levels looking for a challenge. Class includes effective and safe combinations of movements to strengthen the heart and tone the body! Participants should be comfortable in deep water. Swimming ability not required. Floatation belt provided. JUMP, KICK, SHAKE, & SPLASH (ALL LEVELS): Spice up your fitness routine with our hydro-fabulous shallow end aqua class that blends the full body workout of kickboxing, the beauty and grace of dance and the power and strength of plyometrics! PILATES (ALL LEVELS): Movie stars swear by it… so should you! Pilates emphasizes the balanced development of the body through core strength and flexibility to support efficient, graceful movement. PILATES CENTRAL (ALL LEVELS): This is more than a Pilates Mat class. Superior instruction, cueing, and form correction, paired with a variety of props and tools, takes this class to the next level! SUNRISE POWER FLOW (ALL LEVELS): Join us for a strong Vinyasa flow to work you inside and out, body, mind and soul. This class is perfect for the athlete looking to stretch and gain strength, stamina and flexibility, and the yogi looking for an energizing practice. Beginners are welcome! YOGA FLOW (ALL LEVELS): Find balance, serenity and relaxation with this slow flow Vinyasa class. Create a haven for your body, mind and soul by slowing down and escaping from today’s hectic life. Learn through guided visualization to bring more peace into your life. YIN YOGA (ALL LEVELS): Yin Yoga is a deep, passive style of yoga that helps you release chronic tension and pain, while teaching you how to slow down and relax. Through this practice you can explore the inner workings of your body and energy field within the long restorative yin stretches, and how these stretches can help release the energy flow. REVIVE & RESTORE YOGA (ALL LEVELS): Warm up with a flowing Vinyasa that leads you into some deep stretches, (think hips and shoulders) and lands you in a restorative lavender infused savasana. This class will be approximately thirty-five minutes of flow followed by twenty-five minutes of restorative postures. Great for beginners and experienced practitioners. HATHA YOGA (ALL LEVELS): This yoga class is for those individuals looking for a way to recharge, rejuvenate and relax. Built upon a series of poses focusing on the breath, proper alignment, strength and flexibility, Hatha Yoga provides an eclectic blend of poses for all fitness levels. NAAM YOGA (ALL LEVELS): Naam Yoga is a fusion of Kundalini Yoga and Practical Kabbalah. Experience how Naam Yoga connects you to the pure energy of the universe. |
