“Does the JCC have a swim team?”
Posted on 31. Jul, 2010 by Andrew Dalton in Aquatics, News
The JCC of the North Shore is committed to Competitive Swimming Excellence. The JCC has teamed up with the North Shore Swim Club to offer a great youth program. The connection brings many opportunities along with having a chance to compete against other JCC’s.
The North Shore Swim Club (NSSC) is designed to meet the individual needs of the North Shore area competitive swimmers. In addition to individualized and group training, NSSC offers challenges, competitive opportunities, healthy lifestyle and encouragement for every swimmer in the program from novice to national competitor.
The North Shore Swim Club is a fully sanctioned USS program. The program offers a year round commitment which includes advanced skill development and participation in JCC league meets and US New England, Regional and National meets if desired. The success of the NSSC program is a direct result of a philosophy, which provides for the careful development of the swimmers. The club maintains a small ratio of swimmers to coaches to ensure the highest quality training and development of each individual swimmer. The NSSC program is designed to provide a challenging and fun environment in a quality setting. The NSSC web site at northshoreswimclub.org is maintained up-to-the-minute with the latest information and details so parents and swimmers stay informed 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.
